So just done a clean install of E-Sys3.33.0 now.
EXACTLY the same faults!

Even if it has been a while since I used my ICOM and ISTA, (due to lack of need), here is a long-shot:

Last time I used it, it refused to do anything unless the system voltage was higher than 13,5V.
Have you by any chance checked that you power supply is delevering sufficient voltage?

(Yes I know, it's a silly question, but since nothing makes sense, it may be the time for such)

Full PSDZ version this time? I actually meant reinstall of ISTA since it's easier to use. It will also give you a later version of the PSDZ data

You are configuring e-sys to point to the correct folder containing the PSDZ data?

There's no specific direction within E-sys to point it to the psdz folder. Only :directories Data C:\data

I don't have the ISTA+4.32.15 files to do a new install of it and without paying yet more £ can't find one online

Inside C:\data there should be a folder called psdzdata or a symlink to it. 4.36 is out now and not hard to find. More convoluted to get the license though as they clamped down because people were selling it. They may not supply you a new version either

I just googled 4.32.15 and it's easy to find

psdzdata is in Data.
I've found 4.36 but the torrents are not pulling it down atm for some reason.
Again - the license will be the issue although I'm chasing the supplier of the current software as he's advertising 4.36 on his website but hasn't supplied it to me.

I've just gone through the connections and updated the driver for the usb/ethernet dongle as well as although W11 said it was up to date - it wasn't. Its not that though as ISTA+ still comes up with the same faults when reading the bike first time around an then states its a faulty ICOM connection.

Well had a long team viewer session.
Here’s the thing. The ISTA+ software is working.
The “issue” is that on Motorrad there is no pin1 terminal for 12v ignition.
So there is no way of getting ISTA even in Motorrad setting to see it unless there is a specific cable/wiring.
However we did do a workaround for E/Sys to see the latest I-step and pads data so can no activate the FA.
Will take some time later and sort the module activation hopefully
