Looking at that again....I wonder if it is an XR...the screen look small and no hand guards but they may be extra?
Balderston confirmed its an XR. And it goes like stink.

seriously? August? I thought you were one of the first in the queue? When I called into the dealer yesterday to amend my order (low seat) i was told my order has gone to the factory now and the allocated delivery at the dealer will be between july27-aug2 .
Was it a black one? Saw one being assembled in the factory tonight.seriously? August? I thought you were one of the first in the queue?
black? I thought they were making only white and red. did you go to Berlin to see it there? Was it a black one? Saw one being assembled in the factory tonight.
I'm interested to know why BMW have made the wise decision to fit traditional headlight bulbs, rather than LED's, as fitted to their main competition.![]()
It's obviously not cost, as this is a premium priced bike. Seems like a backward step to me, as they have them on several other models.
How do you know which bulbs they fit in? Did I miss some factory video from BMW Press group or what?
Yes, it was partially assembled and doing the rounds before the test run.black? I thought they were making only white and red. did you go to Berlin to see it there?

I was keen on this as a replacement for my Mulistrada, until I read chain drive. FFS,
I want something with a bit more "go" on the fast roads than the Twincam Adventure I have just now...............
