Ordered my GS1200 on 11th November last year to replace my 650 Dakar. They said it would be built in the January run and would take 4 to 6 weeks.
Rang them up today to ask for any news. "Yes sir" came the reply "its in the showroom now". We were going to give you a ring to see if you wanted us to keep it until 1st March.
Urm - I don't think so - picking it up next week - can't wait.
I did ask if waiting until the 1st March would make any difference to the resale value. "Yes" they said, "£25". Interesting that a) it was so small and b) they were so precise. Anyway who cares. I got a real good trade in for my Dakar.
