It's taken hours of polishing but

I'm as bad, and when I had a 1200 it was all done by hand with Autosol.

Come 'For Sale' time, first bloke that saw it bought it.....:thumb

My arms are now like Popeyes, but I've managed to save my headers after stupidly using Optiglanz on them (note to others: DO NOT use Optiglanz on chrome:blast). I know that as soon as I turn the key they will go blue again, but the OCD in me had to get them back to showroom finish.

Here they are before polishing, but after Optiglanz:

And after about 10 hours of polishing:D

nice to know you're keeping my bike well polished hehehe:augie:augie

Stunning mate, can you come and show me how its done, free tea and buns on offer :D

To be fair

To be fair, absolutely lovey and shiny - I have a mate who has a KTM with the same sort of approach - he`d rather stay in and polish his bike on a sunday and gets a `mardy on` if it rains.

I suppose it`s all down to what does it for ya - i take my hat off to the person soooooo lucky enough to spend ten hours cleaning.

Well done mate, not what I would do/can afford time-wise but I salute you :thumb2

I nearly cleaned mine on Sunday :D
couldnt be arsed, decided to ride it instead.
Will give it a good un when the salts gone. will be about an hours worth for me.

Just like my anniversary - sort of! How much did it cost to put tinted winglets and GSA screen on? Did you fit it yourself?

Ta,
Chris.

Bahnstormer did the screen for around £300, the winglets were around £80

When are you going to get round to fixing that gutter downpipe???

:D

Blimey, I'm *so glad* that I don't give a flying f*ck about the condition of any of my bikes downpipes...

Which is probably why I'll never be buying a 1200 anytime soon :augie
