When I download from a CD into iTunes I just get individual tracks listed rather than an album which i can open to see the individual tracks. Any ideas where I am going wrong?

how is it sorted in the columns in iTunes, is sorted by track name or album? you can multi select on all the tracks required (by clicking CTRL & selecting) then go into edit and ensure they are all named in with the same album

Thanks for that Jailon. All I get is Track 1, Track 2 etc. No album info.

When you are ripping a CD in iTunes, highlight all the tracks and then click on "Advanced" then "Get CD track names". Assuming your internet is working iTunes will find the full details for the CD.

..Or you can alter them manually. Select all tracks, then right-click and 'Get info' to pull up the properties. You can change common info such as album title. Also if there's no album art available, you can upload an image from allcdcovers or coverhunt.

If you want to see the albums listed rather than a list of tracks, click on the View menu, then Grid. This changes to display the albums, and clicking on an album icon shows all the tracks on that album.
