Just need to swap the Anakees for some TKC80s (and put on all the bits I took off my GS).

B E A yoodiful!!! I'm tempted to upgrade the LC to an Adventure myself if I can get the deal I need. We're you on the waiting list long?

TKC80s Are you going to be using them on roads as well?
What do you think of them for Grip
On our F*^% pot holed autumnal diesel strewn roads ?
I used them on the route to and from the off-road course in wales ,In that they were fitted to most of the bikes , the instructors swore by them
But personally don't know about the lean angles etc ,
what is your thoughts on these ?

My son has them on his Tiger 800, a lighter bike and not comparing like with like, but his lean angles and corner speed are astonishing.

I had a go on a gsa demo yesterday the bike had done 3.5k so was run in and tbh i was disappointed :( the heavy flywheel made a huge difference as i really felt it took the edge off the bike and I'm not sure if because of the flywheel, when i rolled off the throttle there were less engine breaking, as if the flywheel contributed in the bike rolling on !
The suspension was horrendous I'm a lightweight so set it to soft (i tried all the settings) and every bump jarred me out the seat and running hot into bends i could feel the rd surface thro the bars this felt unnerving as i expected it to soak the bumps and poor rd surface up !

What i did like was the sublime gearbox no clunks at all, but did notice some backlash thro the stick when changing, that may have been my fault tho ! I liked the rd presence of the bike but it needed more input when riding spiritedly flipping it from side to side the gs does this effortlessly !

I tried the screen on a motorway section and low setting was no better than my gs and a lot of buffeting on my shoulders, heigh setting the screen flopped around and the noise on my helmet were horrendous.

So you having a 2015 GS instead mate? Your a scratcher, that extra baulks no good to ya dave :-)

I had TKCs on my GS. I love them on and off road. Lots of confidence even in the bends. They're a little unnerving when new - a bit like going over a tiny cattle grid - but they're nice and soft.

I had to wait a whole 8 days after ordering the bike, before picking it up (from Park Lane).
