As an aside, Williams (the pears not the manufacturers) schnaps is actually my weapon of choice (in German drinking mode) but since Lidl stopped selling it, it's hard to come by over here. Jaegermeister has sort of become the SS signature tipple thanks to a trip a group o' us had tae Germany last year. If you reckon it's for girls, try necking a dozen or so within an 'oor...

Jaegermeister (and the similarly tasting Underberg) are meant to be drank and savoured after a meal as an aid to digestion (they do work). It's a relatively new marketing ploy to have Jaegers as a means to get rat-arsed on and as a "shot" for international bright young things
