A' the folk who went to the Hinterstadtlfest in Jockgrim last year will probably remember my cousin Volker

Well, it seems that as well as the Euro Elections today, there's an election in Jockgrim for the new Burgermeister and Volker is in the running for this (he's been deputy for the last few years) and is in wi' a good chance.

I wonder if he'll follow Labour's "Things Can Only Get Better" lead fae a few years ago and ha'e the Pugwash theme playin' as he's brought ontae the stage?
