I bought this car 2013 as the second owner. I sold it to my father in 2014 after a career change (and company pickup). He has owned it ever since. He, sadly, is no longer able to drive after some major surgery and has asked me to sell it for him.
Current mileage is 76,200 but will increase as I am using the car (it drives so nicely!). MOT to March 2026. only advisories are front tyres. Cambelt was done 10,000 miles ago (recommended is 100,000 miles or 7 years so good on both fronts). Tax is £345 / year

It has a comprehensive service record (there are other receipts for tyres etc);
10/11 - Jaguar dealer : mileage 6,209
08/12 - Jaguar dealer : mileage 15,015
08/13 - Jaguar dealer : mileage 27,314
01/14 - Jaguar dealer : mileage 36,000 (no invoice but the vehicle health check is there - I think I claimed the service on expenses)
11/14 - Jag indy : mileage 41,592
08/16- Jag indy : mileage 50,893
11/19 - Jag indy : mileage 63,408
12/20 - Independent: mileage 65,520 (timing belt replaced)
05/23 - Independent : mileage 69,591 (Covid and cancer treatment limited use), car was MOT'd every year
08/24 - Independent : mileage 73,863, DPF regen due to lack of use
02/25 - Independent : mileage 75,484

It's a lovely barge and is very taut to drive, no squeaks or rattles and suspension is nice and firm (but only as firm as a Jaaaaag can be!).

All you would expect from a Jag, leather interior, bluetooth phone & audio connection, electric heated memory seats, electric steering wheel adjustment, sunroof and best of all, a very strong 275bhp engine that is just delightful ( and the Dynamic sporty mode is fun too), flappy paddles, parking sensors, rear camera. According the What Car, the most reliable luxury car in their

Bad points

All the alloys have been scuffed to varying degrees but nothing horrendous.
As an aging and going blind driver, my father has added the odd scrape here and there, again nothing terrible (see photos)
If you live in London, Birmingham or Bristol, it is not ULEZ compliant (Euro 5a)
It will need front tyres before the next MOT (they passed in Feb)
It would benefit from an interior valet (which I will try and do in the next week or so)
Sat Nav is what you would expect from 2010 OEM, and the system text size is quite small and hard to hit on the move.
Aircon could do with re-gas (it cools but it's far from icy!)
It has a common XJ/XF issue, the water in fuel sensor has failed and shows as a dash warning. It has been like this for the last 5 years apparently and does not affect driving/ performance, but I have ordered a new one, and a new fuel filter so this should be resolved before sale.

Price is £5,995 which is a bargain for the low mileage but reflects the cosmetic issues (nearest equivalent age/mileage I've seen on Autotrader is just short of £8k). Offers will have to be very close to this or I might just keep it as a daily!

£5.50, and a packet of sherbet dib dabs

Can't be fairer than that, and I'm doing you a favor 😎

The dib dabs are her indoors, and she'll kill me if she knows I'm going to giving a pack away 😉
