If you havent seen a set of Jesses and want to poke around some, I have a set of on my bike, which is in the car park at work in Enfield most days.

There are also another options - , Bernd Tesch worldbeaters, Hepco & Becker and a German company called RMS Rennsporttechnik near Koln/Bonn. Do a search in google and you'll find them all. Wunderlich also sell panniers .....made by touratech :D

Vern's, custom made to how you want them. Just don't go ordering any 'cause that'll be another delay in the tob box development!;)

Ah, that'll be where I went wrong. Darkhorse - make sure you specify you want them waterproof and heat resistant...

Hey Mike, we filled up Vern's with beer and ice at Lands End the other day, and guess what... his panniers were still full of the melted stuff come the morning, not a drop had leaked out. Perhaps you got a slightly duff pair, no leaks on mine yet either.:)

Water leaking out wasn't the problem, funnily enough...

The mechanics of fluid getting into a pannier are completely different to those of its water retention, as I'm sure you're aware - you can fill a bucket with water & it won't leak out - hardly waterproof though, eh?

For those interested in Jesse bags, the price on Kiwi Bob's website is not neccesarily what you actually pay. Mine were a lot cheaper due to good exchange rate between the dollar and the euro. Worth dropping Bob an email for an accurate price.
