I still have my MSR Pocket Rocket, 16 years old now. Never had an issue and still in its orginal plastic carry case. Cost a limb when it first came out...
Store my Pocket Rocket inside a Snow Peak Titanium pot, so I always have backup stove and Piezo igniter.
I have 2 Jetboil's, an original 2009 and one I got in the flash sale a couple of years ago.
I also have an MSR Reactor and an MSR Windburner.
The Reactor is the best, of that there is no question.
But it can be a bastard to light, and a bit overkill for boiling water.
But as a cooker it is superb, and the heat it gives off has to be experienced to be believed.
The Jetboil has gone down in quality as the price has remained unchanged in 15 years.
My new one lives under the seat in the T6.1, and I wouldn't bother again ... I would just go with the Alpkit/Amazon version for less money.
But the Goldilocks has to be the Windburner which just works great.
The radiant burner isn't as hot or silent as the Reactor, but a darned sight more efficient and quieter than a Jetboil.
It is proper windproof and the handle on the mug really secure.
Not a clue what it cost, but would replace with the same whatever it was!
