Great bit of kit, fill rucksack with supplies of boil in bag camp foods, boil water, stick bag into pan and soon piping hot food. Or as instructed pour hot water into opened bag of camp food and stir, eat!

Someone in Leenane, was saying that Alpkit (the company itself) had gone under. A pity if so, as they do (did) offer some well make kit.

Edit: I see that in July ‘26, they were bought out / refinanced / rationalised.

I saw one in the Alpkit shop in Ambleside last week. Really well priced bit of kit and looks very well made. They had another remote stove too that looked the business and was ultralight (about £50 from memory). For less still, you can buy a FM Petrel pot with heat diffuser/wind protection and it fits most three legged stoves. I got mine for about £25 and as I already have a suitable stove, it works great and slashes boil times considerably so is more efficient on gas too

I too have the Alpkit Brewkit. Take it on bike when camping or out walking with my sons and son in law. Boys generally have a variety of different gas fuelled stoves which I used to work with too. My daughter is a snob, she used to be an outdoor instructor and guide and won't look at anything unless it says Trangia on the side of it.
While I use the main pan for boiling water and making porridge, I have a set of OEX pans that I use to cook other contents while still having the Brewkit Clean for coffee making afterwards.
I guess it is horses for courses, but I doubt if I will be going back to a small gas stove anytime soon. And I know there is a weight difference that has to be dealt with but at this point, I can cope with that.
