That’s a shock
RIP Jim and condolences to his wife

It is, I had no idea, not that I should. I enjoyed talking with Jim when I met him and Judy at the various national club events. RIP Jim and condolences to Judy

Fair to say that Jim could be a 'marmite' type, but always had the best interests of the club and it's members front and centre.
I always enjoyed his chat.
Thoughts are with Judy and Bruce.

Spot on. But he wanted what was best for the club.

I recall he encouraged me to bring my S1000XR to a Scottish Bike Show as they weren’t that popular back then. He was right and many visitors to the stand enjoyed seeing the new BM Beastie. Thanks Jim L.

Very sad!!

Jim

Hi everyone

I received this email as regards Jim’s funeral arrangements

“Dear Members, here are the final funeral arrangements from Bruce:

Tuesday 4th of March 09:30 hrs, Kirkcaldy Crematorium, Rosemount Avenue, Kirkcaldy, KY2 6HQ. Please arrive a little before to ensure, we're all in, there will be a number of Bikes in attendance including my dad's red F650gs, so please park considerately to accommodate them.

The service should last 45 mins, after which the bikes will lead us through to Kinghorn Community Centre, Rossland Place, Kinghorn, KY3 9SS. For tea and cakes and to celebrate my Dad's life, we will be there from 11:00 hrs approximately till 13:30 hrs.

Please don't bring flowers, there will be a donation box at Kinghorn Community Centre for those who feel they would like to give something, maybe a couple of quid, the centre is a charity run by volunteers, and is struggling like us all in these difficult financial times, it's part of my dads local community, and we would like to support it as much as we can.

There won't be a live stream of the service, and we would prefer if mobile phones were switched off or to silent and kept in pockets during the actual service.

The only Black accepted will be Motorcycle gear, otherwise bring some joy and colour with you, free photo in the magazine for best neck tie (if I get round to taking photos and picking a good one).

Many thanks to all who've already said they are coming, just a lovely response.

Regards
Inus Le Roux“
