Anyone listening to his show this afternoon? They were discussing whether motorbike road racing should now be banned in Ireland. 11 riders have lost their lives since 2000 and alot more injured. A lot were saying the price is now too much to pay and would like to see an end to it.

Personally I feel it would be a great shame if they did decide to ban road racing.
Could it happen and who would have the final say ?

heard the show, was a bad start by a few concerned mothers and bikers, the medic came across well, and some of the families made a good impression, Joe was his usual wind up self,
all be blown over by tomorrow.
if they ban this because of 11 deaths in 9 years then how many other sports would fall into the same catagory

Rugby...., actually Rugby probably has less deaths but more injuries where players are serious incapacitated for the rest of their lives...
