I bought Autocoms from Ste.

I had an Integral Sport helmet from John Clark, Dundee. Got my coms fitted but my mechanic couldn't get the ear pieces to stay in place. Mind you, he was rushing at this point and it was a quick trial run. I phoned Clarkies and was told by the Motorcycle Dept, that I would need to stitch some velcro inside my helmet to get the ear pieces to stick  Considering that Clark's sell both helmet and Autocoms, I assumed that they would be compatible without getting my sewing box out!!!

A quick PM to Ste and I got full fitting instructions without any mention of Velcro.

Coms now fitted....

Cheers for some fkn lousy advice John Clark :(

That's not logical at all Ronnie. They also sell Minis and luggage for GSes but the GS top box won't fit on the back of a Mini.

Agreed Mike, but the point is, you DON'T need to sew velcro into the BMW helmet to get the earpieces in place. If the salesman didn't know how to get them in place, why not just say so... :nenau

Probably not but you know what they say about "belt and braces"..... :D If it had been me I'd have suggested that you bring it in and I'd look at if for you but I guess it's all down to priorities.
