I went to JC's Yesterday to see if they had any brochures etc. about the new 1200Adv ;) (Don't tell the wife)

But she need not have worried, I went in looked at all the Bikes they had, looked at the clothing, walked up and down.

Spent a good twenty - twenty five minutes there. But any from of Human conatact with a Sales type person seems not to be prerequisite there.

I suspect they could sell much more if there was ever anybody there :nenau

Oh and they seem to have hidden all their brochures (Unless you want an RT)

I've had similar experiences there. My wife was most displeased when one time we went in and out without anyone speaking to us at all!

I was in there last sunday with an affer from my beloved of a Ralyye 2 suit for Christmas. Fat chance of finding one that fitted with the limited stock available.

Stick with Motorrad Central, you get much better treatment.

Agree, John Clarks' are a waste of time for bikes and bike gear. Their money comes from the car side; the car guys are noteven interested. Difficult to even form a relationship with Clark's as there were no bike sales staff about on the occasions when I have been there.

I recently managed to buy my R1200GS from John Clarks Aberdeen. I must admit it wasn't without a couple of minor problems, the admin side. The Salesman, Alan Joyner, was most helpful, always trying his utmost to help. But unfortunately he cannot be there all the time. When he's not there things do go down hill for the bike customer. And if you really want to see the worst, turn up in a works Transit van (I'm a Field service engineer).
Unfortunately the Aberdeen Branch is controlled by the Dundee Branch and that seems to be just as bad. Having gone there a couple of times.
Apart from this the bike is great.

I was in there the other day and was not approached at all. I did like the MultiStrada that was in there........The1150GS's that were in there were so over priced I couldn't believe it

Terrible shop
