JOHN TAYLOR.......R.I.P.......

I'm still trying to get to grips with this.......
Just read in the local paper that John Taylor, a founder member of the Devon Advanced Motorcyclists, died on the last Sunday in September........
John took me out on my Advanced Check Test a year ago and I can honestly say he had to be one of the nicest, most approachable people I have ever met....adding to which he was also a superb motorcyclist..
He also had alot of class because he rode a GS.....
John will be sadly missed by an awful lot of people.....
Sincere condolences to his family.....

Jaq, where did you see this? I knew John when I was a member of DAM-I'm shocked to hear of his death. He was a truly good man.

In todays Express and Echo....the service was held at Exeter Crematorium yesterday....over 100 bikes followed him there......I would have gone if I'd known beforehand.....
I just rang the Chairman of DAM and he confirmed it was John.....

Yes...I also read about the death of the first John Taylor, it gave me a start at first thinking it was DAM's John Taylor.....but now, of course, it is.......
