I contacted him on this email address two days ago. He asked for full details of my bike, if it had a de-cat, aftermarket exhaust/air filter.
He also requested that I sent photos of the fuse box so he could be certain it has an oxygen sensor or not. (R1100GS).

He claims in his own words...

"Will make much more torque and power and better consumpttion.
The cost is 80 euros it is worth!!
From 78 hp to 92 hp faster at low rpms driving by a gear up".


All sound good, so €80 sent via paypal. Looking forward to fitting it.

Hi John, very pleased your health has improved. I have used your stage 5 chip, I have been using your stage 7 chip for approximately three years without ANY ISSUES.

I will DEFINITELY be ordering your stage 10 chip once you have had time to clear your “ backlog “

Would I be right in saying I would need an 8 chip for a 96 1100RT?

Fitted my stage 9 today, I removed a techlusion 83i/Tfi power box to fit it
So far its smoother and seems quicker, front wheel has stayed on the floor so far
My bike spec is 1200 injectors, remus with the baffle in(i leave for work at 5am), not sure if I should have a more free flowing airfilter or possibly a 1100rt air intake

Hi ssray.

Dyno results By GS AIR TUBES and BY RT large tubes here is the dyno.

Up GS tubes
down RT tubes

Blue line torque by RT tubes, Red line power by RT tubes.
Green line torque by GS tubes and orange line by GS tubes.
bottom is the AFR (full open throttles.

As you see the GS tubes gives more torque and 94 Hp.
The RT tubes gives more power *98 hp but lower torque at middle rpms.

The dyno results is to rear whell from an R1150GS single spark by stage 9 chip and has delete cat free KN air filter and free exhaust no other modification..

Same result and to the R1100GS.


...and here is a dyno by stock chip (R1150GS) (84 hp).

Thanks for posting these good old manuals. Since the Oilheads run better with the TBs set up correctly I’d like to make two corrections to their content.

1. Zero=Zero is a bad alignment procedure that results in the throttle plate open too far. Zero=250mV is a correct, better procedure.

2. The correct tps voltage at idle is 340 mV.
