Just collected my 2016 ( 1 previous owner) R1200GS LC today.

So far I just love how she goes. Ive only done a few miles bringing her home, due mostly to the weather, and needing to drop SWMBO at her friends place (and I have to collect her later !)

Hoping for better weather for tomorrow to get out and do a few more miles.

Not yet tried Dynamic mode, but Im happy with Normal mode so far.

did you check if the previous owner had rejected it? did you check that the engine number matches the V5??

Indeed. I never take mine out of Dynamic, but only turn the TC on when it's raining, otherwise I leave it switched off.

just curious why you would leave the TC off except when it is raining? What about, for example, the unexpected damp autumn leaves on a shaded corner?

It depends on the road conditions. If the roads are dry, you don't have TC restricting the power all the time, so you can have more fun! If the roads are wet/ greasy or its raining, I'll turn it back on.

The TC doesn't restrict the power all the time, only when the front comes off the ground or when the back wheel spins!
