July Mid Wales rideout

Thanks Lamble.
You'll notice that the Web address ends SN7849243702
So set any Garmins to British National Grid and log the waypoint at
SN 78492 43702 (it needs correct spaces) and we'll have a cream tea :thumb2

I notice that there are several intriguing byways by your cream stop, and we are riding past them from Cynghordy after the fabulous rail viaduct bit they are not listed on trailwise and you'd need local knowledge or TRF membership for rights of way. May have a look though while people are wiping jam off their faces.:D

Well I live not too far away, but I'm by no means a local, so thank you for bringing some of these additional interesting points to light. I obviously need to spend more money on maps and less on confectionaries.

Have a great time gentlemen.

I believe I'm down your way, the Mendips, in September, giving a talk at Horizons Unlimited, so if anyone wants to hear "why motorcycling is better than apricot yoghurt", pop along. It's a tale of daring do, adventure, a clown, betrayal, death, teabags and dairy products.

Sunday IS a possibility, but Yonkyo would prefer 31st. It's all a weather and availability problem. I'll Txt everyone for feedback :-)

Majority are requesting Sunday 31st, so I have a 265 mile route gdb'd for anyone who has given me their email. I will Txt next week and watch the weather.

Long range forecast is still looking good for Sunday.
Paul, do we have any timings and route yet mate?
BTW, Colin wants to come along as well. He's not a Tosser, but he was with us on that foul day in January, on his GSA.

Am I wearing Colin's twat suit, if so, I know his size, but he may still kill me :D
YES Sunday weather, may rain at first but brighter later so ride ON
txt details and email GPS route going out now

May I suggest that everyone brings a packed lunch and drinks, plus a 'show us your stove' and we'll have a remote lunch and brew up? That avoids wasting two waiting for food. I do plan several essential stops though.

Expecting 9 riders. Approx 270miles :D

Two, out of nine can't make it, so if you are up for a 260 mile adventure into mid Wales, be at Aust Services Car Park 09.00hrs Sunday 31/7/2011 i.e. tomorrow morning :D

We WILL do the Elan Valley soon, ran out of time.

Mark has recovery got you home yet ?
Was it the drowned bike or wear and tear that wrecked your alternator belt ?
