Not sure that you will be able to get your mobile sleeping accomodation the mile or so up the side of proposed hilluck (yes I am sure you won't :blast) it starts of quite steep loose and skiff slate rock, and goes on for a mile or two! mind you if my fellow campers don't like the look of the pitch, it may be a little longer. You will be able to get your XT up there though if you don't fall of again :augie :D

Who ordered the extra rain:D

Probably the worst conditions I've camped in, but enjoyable all the same.

Great roads and company

Allan thanks for the Chilli and Cherizo they repeated on my all the to Rhyader:D

Thanks to everybody that turned up:D Big Al our thoughts were with you and your tinny all snug in front of the TV.

Note to self must buy a mountain tent.

:thumb2

+1 from me. Thanks Al for the chilli ( think it needed a bit more fire though) might invest in a pair of tkc's and take bigal offroad a bit.

Note to self don't camp on top of mountain.:augie

Photos to follow later(when I can find them):nenau

Rain? Wot Rain? :augieGot home about 3pm, probably take another week or so to dry everything out!

Make that 2 casualties from the Chilli....didn't hit me till I got back:rocketwho

However, a great weekend, great company and some great riding...must do it again soon.:beerjug:

Wet and Wild!!!

Yes, a great time was had by all I think.
Excellent chilli Al, just a tad light on the hot stuff though, not much of a test for old asbestos ring:augie.
Am I the only one who's aching? My legs and arms feel like lead from reining in the big beastie on those fire roads. Excellent choice of terrain boys I feel I achieved something worthwhile it boosted my confidence knowing that you were there to pick me up if shit hit the fan, as it nearly did several times!!. Wish I had been on something that weighed less than half a ton!:toungincheek
Look forward to the next meet, hope I can make it and lets hope Big Al can too:beerjug:
