Hello all,
My 1150 GS has the small + mod (jump start) near my plug, I was wondering If i can also use that for battery charging? Or is it only for starting the bike?

If you mean the jump start post on the starter cover then yes, I did the same thing yesterday, positive terminal on there, negative on the footrest :thumb2

Yeah mate, thats what I talking about! :) Thanks for the info, a saver as I feel my battery needs a small charging (bad weather limits to short rides).
This is what I am talking about:

A plug in the power outlet right next to the +ve post might be easier? Just park up and plug in - simple. Pennies from motorfactors / ebay.

I have both, an Oximiser that uses a BMW plug for trickle charging and a normal car charger with croc clips for a more heavy event, as I have no permanent power to my garage when I need to top up the battery I can bring the bike into the yard and give it a couple of hours on a heftier charger, which apparently my Odyssey battery will like.
