Jumped from BMW

I just watched some chap from Knox UK test the V4s, he said he was getting 140m max out of the tank. That can’t be right?
I'm sure that figure is achievable "on test" or riding it like it's not your bike but what tester or reviewer rides a bike as if it were their own?
I toured on mine in September to the Alps & Dolomites etc. over 3000+ miles I got 52 mpg average, which is enough for a 200 ish mile tank range.

Earlier this year I had an Enfield Bear 650. I averaged 80mpg over 5000 miles.
On one ride I had to get somewhere urgently, I rung the bikes neck and still got over 70
Yet a magazine running one as a long termer claim 56mpg. I just can't see how. 🤔

I did a track day on the Rally and just about managed all day on a tank. I usually do 250 ish miles between fill ups

160 - 170 with very spirited riding, so 140 is credible if he's really ragging it. The are very thirsty at pace. They do get better as they wear in. Beyond about 7,000 miles consumption got noticeably better on both mine
