June Meeting 20th

GOt my gsa tonight, love it so far but only done 25 miles
needs new back tyre for defo...then i'll be able to ride it around corners ... :D

so boys how many are you going to turn up next week ?

meeting down south ?

I'm up for the meeting, but is'nt the venue nearly the midlands ?

If anyone wants me to find a venue for the NW around Rivington (north Bolton) or in the trough of bowland (north Preston) or around Parbold hill (near j27 M6) let me know I sort meetings and discussion nights as a table biker (thats ex round table mostly ) We could have butties and a speaker etc. can we discuss at the windmill etc anon anon.

Also we (I) could sort a nice run for a w/e 2 night stay in some remote venue with a pre-mapped route let's say Brockwood hall in Millom and a curcumnavigation of Cumbria or a trip to Lockerbie Queens Hotel and a boarder raid etc Wadda u think ?
I know of some biker friendly hotels with music and banquet facilities too
Great way to meet and use the bikes for the w/e for about £100

Cheers,

Jon

one of my reason for buying the GS was to get out more on a bike, my green laning will always come first....
but i'd be up for a meet anyway plus always interested in a ride out....so count me in..

Ok, so I turned up last night at the Windmill and wondered where evryone was.

eeeeeerr guys. A certain 'local' football team is playing a certain scandinavian team in quite a major tournament on Tuesday 20th at 8pm. I , for one , would like to watch the match.

If enough people are not interested in the footie then thats OK stay with the 20th but if not we might want to consider changing the date OR changing the venue to one that has a large TV?

oh yes forgot about the football team play... well i might just have to used that video recorder i've not used for some years ..because i'm going out on me bike.

i said to myself after watching England play two years ago in euro 2004, i would never go out my way to watch them again if i have something else planned..
the plays we have a world class (very good) but only on average put 50% effort in. :spitfire :rob :nono

So i'm going out on my bike to meet some of you lot ,or will i be on my own ? :nenau

I intend to be there, might not be on the bike, depends how the packing/kids/weather are doing.

Malc won't be there, but he will be the week after :D

Only joking Malc, got the mapsource stuff sorted finally :spitfire . It helps if you know what you are doing, I suppose.

Windmill

I will be there too. :rob

Which Tuesday ?

There is a small TV in the bar. Bar should be quiet as it is not the sort of pub that atracts locals. Especially with the local BMW hells angels attendance.

See you 8:30 ish ON BIKE.

Who am I ?
