Greets from japan ,

Probably not very thrilling but a couple of snaps of my newly finished project GS. Runs like a dream with race exhaust and shiny new paint. Sooo much better than that bloody awful graphitan hehe. Anyone thinking of unlocking this bikes potential spring for a custom ss. race system from Sasaki Sports in Suzuka near my village ;) whooooaaaaahhh a new bike for 600 quid ! Sorry for the boring photos but project worked out rather well I thought.
Cheers......ps no cracks about the garden it's artistic !
Oops just realized I have no idea how to post a pic. Please disregard this...or use yer imaginations.

Very nice! Haven't seen that shiny GS in my life :cockeye :chewstick

You ought to get some dirt on it too to introduce the bike to hard life on Earth. ;)

Interesting looking thing there Dave, is that a Japan only product?

I see you have the obligatory little city car. We had one on hire, sounded like a Triumph triple being strangled!

Must be cherry blossom time over there now?

Heya Muppet- Indeed it is cherry blossom time.
Time to go sit under the cherry trees by lantern light and get thoroughly messed up on hot sake again - damn I hate this time of year
That snail-like appendage is a corbin smuggler topcase - sorta weird looking but great for stashing helmet, gloves , condoms ( extra small- thanks for asking) etc. Designed to match the lines of the GS blahblah - and only 500 quid too ! - picked it up on our ebay for 120 though :P
Pity you didnt have a chance to pop over - mb next time. GSers always welcome !

Was half-expecting some verbal flack for turning my GS into a street only pimp machine but I wanted to try to recapture a little of the fantastic old beemer I had 30 years ago - which incidentally I last saw sitting in the front room of the police station after I left the road and made a spectacular unannounced entrance through the front window ahem. see officer it was really icy out there......:P "

Is it my eyes or the roundell not being central?(i like the box very much if it's what you need and dont have a passenger)

"Is it my eyes or the roundell not being central?"

Must be your eyes - my shack is built on a slope cut out of the teafields and the carpark follows the slope.

Then again......I hope my mate sprayed under the roundel when he sprayed the bike ! Damn..sorry I"ll move it a smidge tomorrow.:hpbirthda

Yeah, sorry I should have called to say I wasn't gonna make it. It all got a bit hectic in the end with other half having lots of friends & family to visit. Anyway, we'll be back over in a year or so, I'll make sure I've go a day or so spare.
