Good day tossers,
If i am in a hurry, is it important to let the bike finish its pre-start diagnostics or not.:nenau

I never did and there was never a problem. As long as you don't operate the brakes until its done its thing to let the servos start you're good to go. Any problem that comes from the checks will be displayed when its finished with either a yellow or red triangle.

waiting for this thing to go through it's start-up procedure is worse than waiting for Windows to start-up so i start it up almost as soon as I turn the key and i never get any problems, just wait a second and the brakes will be OK, you soon know if they are not:eek

I never realised you were supposed to until I read comments on this website.

My bike now trained not to expect to get through the diagnostics - start procedure is sit on, roll backwards (out of garage), press button, go (miss tree at end of garden)

seems to work fine

i normally turn on the ignition then put my gloves on. By the time ive finnished so has the check.
