I have OpenOffice on my computer but not Word. A year back that wasn't a problem, but as we all know things change. Now I find that I need to be doing reports, spreadsheets etc and sending them as atatchments via e-mail more and more frequently. Some are getting through readable and some not, some can't even be opened. I'm running XP home and everything else is working great.
I don't understand as to start with everything seemed compatable but was only ever used very occasionaly and perhaps I was just lucky
Do I need to dump OpenOffice and get Word or what ? I'd rather spend the money on a bike trip
Please don't mention hookie sites and cheats as I got zapped for a corporate copy of XP Pro and lost so much stuff and I am just so squeekie clean now.
