Hi, thought I'd share my Europe/Alps trip with you all as we're all snowed in at the moment, having had a warming up trip to Ullapool with a few of you this summer, "Great trip that was" anyway enjoy Mitchy...

Planning, hey you guys are slow!! My 2011 trip is already in the bag, hotels/ferries the lot. Here's my 2010 trips itenery for those who are interested
Thurs 30th sept left home 02.00hrs ferry Dover 7.30hrs Calais 10.30hrs
Baden Baden (Germany)17.00hrs. Fri 1st Oct (Start of the holiday) through Black Forest (B500) to Switzerland saying in Andermatt Sat 2nd Andermatt.
Sun 3rd made are way to Bolzano (Italy) via Passo Stelvio.
M, Tu, W, Thurs, spent discovering the Dolomites from one hotel, south of Bolz.
Fri 8th Pattenasco (Italy) Sat 8th Nice, Sun 9th Route Napoleon N85 to Anncey.
Mon 10th Ales via Col de Rousset. Tue 11th Andorra. Wed 12th Torla (Pyrenees)
Thus 13th Santander. SORRY- its not as detailed as skynet's trip around Europe with a 11 year old. But hey, who could beat That!! My 2011 trip same start just different route down to Nice ferry across to Corsica 4 days. Ferry across to Sardegna 3days. Ferry back to Corsica ferry from Ajaccio to Toulon. make way through Andorra/Pyrenees and Bilboa as from next year there are sailing from Bilboa/Portsmonth (Brittany Ferries) Ye Haaaaa

yes its good to plan and gets me throught the winter, something to look forward to that involves being in hot sunny places, so i like to take the planning stages at a measured pace to make sure it lasts thru til feb at least!
