58 plate bike now on 7000 miles
Its not just the money, I dont live that near a dealer and I also like to take my own bike apart and clean etc as I go along
Service kit from Sherlocks £35 inc P+P
Oil £17 local auto spares shop
printed off service sheet
all filled in to FDA/MHRA/Orange guide standard
along with receipts.
No faults other than inlet valves 0.05mm loose
gearbox needed topping up
changed air filter and plugs just for the hell of it (air filter was dirty though)
dont care about BMW serice history as it will have 60-70,000 miles on it when I out it when its 3 years old (same as my 06) and I will take what it goes for on e bay.
Dont expect to need warranty as they run ok if you use them.
but reckon I would be ok if the worst happened.
