Whats the most fuel you've put into your 12GS. I've just filled up after doing a few km with the "kms to go" showing zero!! The tank took 22.19 litres after 428 km.
I think a few of us have managed to get in more than it says you can!!
Removing the black rubber sleeve at the top helps you fill up easier as well.

and also doing the fuel tank mod. Makes filling up much quicker.
I don't get this at all - my fuel indicator starts the 50 mile countdown on my 1200GS about 150/160 miles so I reckon I can't get more than 210 out of a tank - how on earth are you managing 266 miles? Is that after a fuel mod?

I think most of the countdown jobbies are based on a rate rather than only what is left in the tank i.e. the rate you are burning up fuel now you will get x more miles along the road... so it's more indicative than anything. plus imagine all the complaints when it says you've got five miles left but the tank is bone dry, they err on the side on caution as joe public (not individuals!

Generally get around 400 km out of a tank. The fuel mod certinly helps. But this is the first time I have run it past zero on the km to go!
