Sounds like thunder with the baffle out! Seems to rev much quicker and pick up easier, feels quite a bit faster too, the front goes light in third now!!

Has anyone else fitted a BOS system? I'm interested to see the power its putting out, not gave it a full test yet only popped to the shops! But it looks like it was well worth it! :thumb

No, but I want one. IMVHO it's easily the best looking and sounding system out there :thumb

Re the power output there are curves on the Bos site IIRC.

Hi,

Yes you can, the can its self is smaller than the BMW one.... I've seen the BOS website but I'm not sure if i'd believe all they say!! I'm going to get a power and air/fuel run done and compare it to a std curve to see... from looking at the web site it feels like the bike is making more power in the right places.... Going to give it a good thrash tomorrow on the way to work to see!

Glad someone likes them ... I have had a shelf full for 6 months but everyone wants a damn Remus... I think they are a nicer pipe by far...

I think that they are far better than the Remus.... In terms of build quality etc, they even make more power according to the website :bounce1

May I ask how much you are selling them for at the mo. please?

Cheers

Hi Skippy,

Before I sold the full system to Franky, I had a set of TT bars, fits fine. Also had the TT crash plate and that fits fine too take a look....

Will totally back up what Franky says about the system, fantasticlly well made, great price, sounds brill, and weights 3kg less than the stock item...only sold it as I'm off travelling and need the cash otherwise would never have flogged it!

Here's the bike with full loaded so even the these fitted no problem with bos and standard exhaust.

Fitted full Bos system on my 1200 yesterday. Sounds fantastic, goes fantastic. Not noticed any low end drop in power/torque....in fact quite the reverse. Feels much more responsive and revs more freely. :thumb Going to need better ear plugs though.

Off into the Peak District today to give it real good thrash and then up to Rivington Barn to meet the lads and a bite to eat.

Does anyone know if the BOS fits with H&B bars?

Skippy.
I have H&B bars fitted. No problems at all.

Took bike up to Longridge area after Rivington. Seemed a bit inappropriate when I went past sign saying "You are now entering a Quiet Lanes Zone" Sorry. Not this afternoon.

The Bos system fully lives up to my expectations. Did notice a bit of resonance under steady load between 3000 and 4000 revs though. Exhaust note pulses up and down between once and twice per second.

No backfiring but a fantastic snap, crackle and pop on over-run
.
