Had the usual wobbly wheel requiring a new final drive unit. Seems the casing and the black anodised bit between the case and the wheel have been replaced. I know its a 'sealed unit' but having to pay out for a case as well as the drive seems a bit excessive - actually I paid nowt cos it under warranty but worrying if you have to do it yourself.

One wonders if BM are planning on doing an exchange service for future replacements??

And they also appear to have given me a new brake disc as well.

Phil, did they give you a new disc due to it being warped? Just wondering as I've had warped rear discs.

No there was nowt wrong with it, as far as I could tell - it was fairly well worn but no where near worn out.

When the rear dive fails there are circumstances where the rear disc can be stressed os on some occasions, depending on what has failed, the rear disc is changed as part of the warrantee repair:thumb

Sometimes even the wheel is replaced
