Just Had To PUUUSSHH it Home. F.P. Control?

Set out tonight on GSA Got 1/2 a mile and she stopped, Thought it sounded like fuel.
Pushed her for 1/4 mile to the BP station. Only took 28 Litres, so not empty.
Bike re started for 50 metres then stopped again.
So Pushed her home... took 25 mins, lost about 25lbs through sweat.

BMW are on their way here........... Fuel Pump Controller???

I'm still very hot! Its a heavy beast, specially with a full tank!

Anyone thats had an FPC go , are these the symptoms

Does sound like the fuel pump. I pushed mine home about a mile as I'd nearly got home after my fuel pump controller went.......I won't be doing that again!!!

BMW assist have just gone, It is the FPC.

Do the dealers keep them in stock?

Sorry that you are another victim KevG, but that made me laugh.
The controller is a major stock item ( I wonder why) and there will be loads in stock
Unless their stock is depleted by people carrying spares.... or those that chose not to

How much are they? I may get a spare if theyre not too dear.

Guess Williams had one to fit to the bike? Did yours need the antenna ring update as well?

Happened to a mate but thankfully the mechanic called out to him had a couple in his van as he had changed a few!!
