Fluid Grey with all the toys apart from the radio  I also added a tank bag to go with the top box so plenty of carrying capacity then :thumb2

I'm thrilled to bits, its my first new bike for a while. I was given a fantastic deal from Cannons so couldn't be happier :beerjug:

Roll on next Wednesday :moped:

After 3 x 1200GS I was at a loss what to get that didn't seem like a backward step as the GS was that good imho. I eventually tried the RT and rate it as one of the best bikes if not the best bike I have ever owned: it is comfy as your favourite armchair and is plenty quick enough if you use all of the engines power and revs, unlike so many big bikes that rarely use more than 25% of their power and handling. I have seen reports of people unhappy with the ride but that is more to do with Blighty's shite roads then a weakness in the RT and I find the ride excellent on all but the bumpiest roads and even then I can live with it.

Enjoy your new bike: it really is superb at getting you where you want to go quickly, in comfort and out of the weather with its superb fairing :beerjug:

You`ll love it. I changed from a 2010 12 GS due to not getting on with the saddle, and i LOVE IT. Longest day so far is 344 miles and it was a lot more comfortable than the GS.:thumb2
Are you getting a top box ?, if so get it colour matched, it looks good in grey .:clap

P.S I like the look of those frame protectors.

Another nice idea :beerjug: Kin El thought i'd thought of everything but obviously got lots to learn :blast

Did you have your top box sprayed? If so, how much was it please?

Yes Top Box and Tank Bag :thumb2

Thanks, nice idea :beerjug:

Are they available in the UK? Its just that I've had (customs) issues in the past importing goods from the US and it can cost a lot....:blast

Mine (pre owned) came with them already on. I have just looked and can only see the ones supplied by 'Weiser' who are an American company and have their own website, other than the BMW dealer link I posted previously.

Even if you can't get these over here it might be well worth some of that clear thick adhesive film or fake carbon, cut to pattern. The frame does get easily scuffed up I believe and not sure if mine is underneath or not.

Might I suggest the plastic headlamp glass protector too.......could save a lot of money.

I am sure you know all this anyway............enjoy. :D

Nice. I had a 2011 one and loved it, but replaced it with a GS that I am happier on.

I still have the bar risers that I found transform the comfort - Helibar ones, if you are interested.

Yep............I love mine too! :D

If you intend to add some extras, might I suggest these before your boots scrape the frame too much.

I'd recommend something like those but not black, I've seen clear and carbon effect, I'd go for clear myself.

Also get Cannon to fit a front mudguard extender before you ride it out, made by Pyramid I think.

Enjoy the ride, best bike on the road :thumb2

Thanks for looking for me :thumb2. Will look into the headlight protector :clap

Well done, mate :thumb2 It's a great bike and I'm sure you'll love it. Welcome to the RT crew :D

OK,OK i missed that one !.
wre do you get headlight protector from ?.

If it comes with crappy BT021 tyres, change them at the earliest opportunity - it'll transform the handling :thumb2
