Just ordered a new R1200RT

I enjoy making progress and whilst the bike handled OK two up, it didn't turn in very well solo. By 3k they were on the way out and by 3.5k it was sliding around all over the place.

I fitted BT- 023 as they were all Strathern Tyres in Crieff had in stock and I needed new tyres to get home from a funeral in Perth. They've completely transformed the handling and it turns into corners solo like a GS or VFR now :thumb2

sven, when you say the bike was sliding around all over the place after 3.5k miles on the Bridgestones, do you mean it wiggled a bit on uneven surface and white lines or the tyres were sliding the bike like Rossi on a good day? I presume we are talking about the public highway and not a track day?

They basically felt like the rubber had overheated and gone hard/lost its grip. I could feel them slithering around in the corners - very disconcerting :eek
