Well it's better built than I expected, sits nice and stable on the desk with two drives in it.
It has a load of software on a disc, including some HD cloning stuff which although I won't use it, could be useful for some. (one button push, clone disk)
There are rather a lot too many drivers, and the Chinglish instructions aren't particularly clear, so I just went for the latest ones and it all seems to work......the thing reads SIM cards as well as all the SD/MICRO SD cards etc, which could be useful at some point.
It's read all the drives I've thrown at it in the last hour, but I seem to have been fairly thorough when I last used trhem and they're all cleaned down already......bang goes the hope that I'd re-discover some long lost favourite porn
It takes ONE IDE and ONE sata drive at a time which is fine, but 2 IDE slots would have been better for me...not an actual issue though.
Two powered full strength USB 3 sockets, that's nice to have on the desk as well, as I'm always swapping leads about to charge phones/Ecig batteries/cameras etc
It would be really nice if it had an audio out jack as well, but it didn't say it did have one.....the place I've stuck it though, it would have been more convenient to plug my earphones into this unit rather than the PC facia, but hey ho.
Overall, very happy.......does what it's supposed to, better built than I was expecting for 13 quid delivered and although it is a little plasticky, for the money and features, well recommended
