£13.33 inc P&P.......no affiliation to them, but it does a LOT for the money....I've got several HD enclosures for old HDs, but they were all 30 quid or so....this appears to do the same for TWO HDs, plus all the rest.

Will report back as and when :thumb2

That looks like it's about to explode into a thousand pieces!!

It does a bit, and I'm not expecting it to be a top quality piece of kit.

I do have half a dozen old Hard drives from over the years though, and it'll be interesting to be able to delve back through some old stuff, as well as use the biggest ones as a bit of extra capacity ;)

Yer they're great. Our laptop completely failed and I used one of them to recover the family photos off the hard drive that I never got round to backing up before it went bang.

If that works I'll definitely be having one. I've lots if old disk and just getting rid of the enclosures would clear a press out.

I look forward the review!

It's got a handy LED labelled up so you don't mistake it for anything else. Don't leave it on when you go out.

Well it's better built than I expected, sits nice and stable on the desk with two drives in it.
It has a load of software on a disc, including some HD cloning stuff which although I won't use it, could be useful for some. (one button push, clone disk)

There are rather a lot too many drivers, and the Chinglish instructions aren't particularly clear, so I just went for the latest ones and it all seems to work......the thing reads SIM cards as well as all the SD/MICRO SD cards etc, which could be useful at some point.

It's read all the drives I've thrown at it in the last hour, but I seem to have been fairly thorough when I last used trhem and they're all cleaned down already......bang goes the hope that I'd re-discover some long lost favourite porn :blast

It takes ONE IDE and ONE sata drive at a time which is fine, but 2 IDE slots would have been better for me...not an actual issue though.

Two powered full strength USB 3 sockets, that's nice to have on the desk as well, as I'm always swapping leads about to charge phones/Ecig batteries/cameras etc

It would be really nice if it had an audio out jack as well, but it didn't say it did have one.....the place I've stuck it though, it would have been more convenient to plug my earphones into this unit rather than the PC facia, but hey ho.

Overall, very happy.......does what it's supposed to, better built than I was expecting for 13 quid delivered and although it is a little plasticky, for the money and features, well recommended :)

Seems he's put his price up to £33.33 now :-0

Oops!!

There's a cheaper version that looks like it's come from the same manufacturer, with none of the card reading/usb functions.

HERE

TBH the 33 quid price is probably a fairer price.......I thought it was a bloody bargain at 13, and the other HD enclosures I've had over the years have all been at around the 30-40 quid mark.

Right time, right place then! Does seem awful cheap for 14 quid :)

I've had a good week like that....I was lucky enough to see Batman1's thread on Bell helmets in the spotted a bargain section and got my 200 quid new helmet this morning, at a cost of under 70 quid delivered.......fits nicely as well :)
