Just Serviced with 15W-40 Engine Oil

Nope. Not worried.
Without starting WW3...... I wonder if you own that bike? If I see something like that on a service invoice Id question it instantly.
After my last service. A technician left a comment in the notes. It said "Coolant low. And does not appear to be BMW Coolant"
I instantly question that. and pointed out, Only BMW have worked on the bike, so I need to know what is in the coolant. And I wanted it tested. Their response was "Oh it was a mistake, The technician is new"

Yeah I own it outright.

I saw "magura" and thought that was odd, googled it at the time and saw that magura don't make engine oil... So parked it.

According to SI its a formatting glitch within BMW's servicing software. Your clutch will have been serviced using Magura royal blood and engine using 5w40 engine oil, no such thing as Magura 15w40 engine oil and don't worry they wouldn't have put royal blood in your engine 😝

I understand that, Faith in the brand. (y)

I called BMW John Clark Aberdeen and they said that this new oil is being supplied by BMW Motorrad and has been approved by them. The reason for the change is Shell supply issues due to the ongoing provlems in the Middle East.

slightly off track, but i have tried to buy the recommended oil for my 1250 from both my local bmw dealers and neither have been able to supply it due to shortages in the supply chain
