Hello.
Just wondering 2 things...
The headlight on my 1100gs is really piss poor. Really cant see nought at night! Is this common or is mine just a bad one?? How can I improve it??

This might be stupid question but I ordered a mph speedo today to replace the kph one on it. Is it as simple as just swapping speedos or is there anything else to do???:confused:
Thanks

The 1100 doesn't have a very good headlamp - I bought a pair of spotlights from 'how much' - which improved matters enormously.

speedo is a straight swap.

I put a dipping HID in mine and a pair of FF50s on one of Daves lightbars :thumb
Not that I am scared of the dark or anything :D

I thought about about HID bulbs but didn't like them , so brighter bulb and 2 sets of spots on migsel light bar , Happy with it now .

No there are 2 switches , I wired set into the signal cancel button , just press in for fraction and a led lets you know .

If the headlight beam pattern is good go with a dipping HID. It will be on all the time so no fire up delay and the light output is phenomenal, makes Halfords extra bright lights look like sad joke.

The HIDS need no extra switching and minimal changes to the wiring plus you don't have extra sticky out bits to demolish in an off.

If you must have extra lights look at high power LED's, they're the future.

Job done

Got a brighter bulb and I'll try that before I head down the HID route.

Also got the speedo changed over to the mph one today. How will it work out with mot here in NI with the difference in miles and km on the clock?? Will our friends even notice its been changed??
Thanks for all the replys boys
