K 1100 gearbox stripped. Expert opinions?

Got a spare box for the Grinnall. Stripped it for a look-see .
Now, I'm no gearbox expert, so I thought I'd post a few pics for anybody (steppers, are you watching) who knows about these mysterious things to give opinion (o-pinion ... almost a pun there)
Doggys seem fine, gears look ok, selector forks have got very small shiney wear marks but no grooves or dips in the metal. Bearings 'feel' ok.
Going to fit new seals as a precaution.

Looks a bit oily to me. Get it in the dishwasher ASAP.
 
If the inside of the box is covered in what looks like grey slime, then i'd say you've got a bearing going

Light grey coating inside a K series gearbox is fairly normal, even when the oil drains out clear. .
