K and N filter ?

Just had a k and n filter fitted at service and I think the bike is less responsive on gear change ie takes a fraction to respond to throttle.
Any one else think this is the case?

I've just put a K&N in my twin cam engine today. I'll let you know if I find any difference. Is your K&N clean and not over-oiled?

If your also running decat headers and not the OEM silencer as well it could be running too lean.

The K&N filter has less airflow resistance than the original paper filter, making the engine run leaner and also has poorer filtering properties. If you fancy a reusable filter, go for an oiled foam filter like the Unifilter. Been using one now for several years on my bike with decat headers and non-OEM silencer. Filtering properties are on par with OEM, flow resistance slightly less. In addition I'm using the Unifilter prefilter which is catching most of the crap, hardly any need to clean the filter in the airbox. Unifilter: http://www.uniflow.com.au/
