Mechanically etc., is the K1 exactly the same as the K100 16v

and will all parts for the K100 16v fit the K1

To my knowledge Yes

"BUT" I think there's a different ECU mapping for the K1 injection

I have found a Harmann chip of EBay US - quite a few recommend Harmann
