Just done the clearances on my LT ,inlets should be 0.15 to 0.20 there all good apart from two at 0.14 .0.13 a little tighter than the rest?
The exhaust are all spot on at 0.25,

Do i need to be worried ?

Anybody help please.

A mate had the same on a k100rs - turned out the right ones were bent slightly.

Have you noticed any difference in the way it runs?

No neeed to worry if you adjust them to the correct clearance

Sorry I am not going to say it will be "all right"

You may get away with it just fine for a long time "but" for the sake of two cam buckets Why risk a burnt valve?

Better off with the proper clearance (Much more so on the Exh valves and I tend with them to err towards the upper end of the scale rather than the lower)

To explain better It may have been that way since day one it left the factory or the clearance could be closing ??
So how long has it taken to close this far how long since last clearance check

If you need it then It "should" be fine in the interim but my foreman at BMW preferred they be on the mid to upper clearance when I worked at the dealer ship

Thanks for the advice, cams out I think.

Make a Map of the clearances as they are "Before" you lift the cams out And when you come to do checks again you will see if any have closed up

If you are doing this and have cams out you could check the buckets and sometimes you can shift them around to achieve greater clearance and maybe only buy 5 or 6 buckets

I've also got a vey slight knock from the front end on small bumps pot holes.got the steering damper of and the bottom joint can't see any wear though ,any idea?
