K1200RS mirrors on 1100GS

I have seen previous threads about the K-RS rectangle mirrors bieng fitted to the 1150, I have seen some on 1150's at rallys also.

Does anyone know if they will fit on the 1100? I assume the thread will be the same, the problem could be that the switchgear is different on the 1100 to the 1150.

Has anyone fitted them, or tried fitting them to a 1100?

I was going to do this years ago, but never got round to it.

Apparently they are a straight swap. This being from an American dude, maybe a pinch of salt also. If you do it, let me know.

I'll be looking out for a cheap set now...

The problem on the 1150 is that they foul the choke lever. A little bit of filing deals with it. This is different on the 1100 but I suspect that is where you will find difficulty with fitting.
