I guess you are now into testing the continuity of each conductor with a multimeter whilst manipulating to find the culprit.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Start with the power supply to and from the ignition switch. It could also be the connector at the switch.
much appreciated
I do love a happy ending! Result and sounds like a cheap fix too
Nice work and has saved you from considering that under powered' tubed tired Honda thingy that Arsey managed to off load into our pleasant land!
Oh and Arsey (if your lurking) Motorama has a lovely GSA TC just in. 2010 anniversary model. I know the previous owner who kept it well. Shall I ask Darren to hold it for you???????
nice enough looking bike but not quite my cup of tea. It would most likely be easier and cheaper to pay a bike dealer or vehicle wiring specialist to locate the fault and repair it. Wires are wires.
I seem to recall some issues with ignition switch wiring becoming chafed on a few 1200's due to tight wiring runs and cable ties.
apologies
thanks to both of you
Erm not sure why I overlooked this, think I was so cock sure the fault was further into the loom, apologies
thanks to both of you
