out for bimble today . stopped to look over a valley and bike died.

No lights on dash . Not a click when turned ignition key.

Headlight works and battery is good ( only a month old )

Any pointers would be appreciated please ?

P.S. earlier in day bike gave very occasional "stutter" - similar to running with dirt in fuel

Battery connections tight??

Not very helpful I know, but K755 usually ultra reliable, better waiting for a proper expert, eg Steppers, rather than relying on my musings!

Check all the fuses, they dry out a bit. Remove individually and liberally spray with wd40 or the likes 👍. I had this problem on a K1100rs.

So you have headlamp & Tail lamp ?

But No dash lights at all ? Neutral / battery / oil pressure ??

Wiggle key in Ignition switch, Wiggle wire from headstock to Ignition switch ??

Having power to headlamps usually means the Engine / gearbox ground is good and the Load relief relay is not stuck "on"

I get a feeling that its the switch / Small ignition switch loom they did suffer from water ingress and Verdigris and occasionally broken wires

thank you both for the practical advice.

i am technically qualified to "spray" and "wiggle"

But there are questions to be answered in mine LOL
apologies

yes to all except the "wriggle" bits

the bike is lodging at a kind gentlemans shed a few miles from here

I will visit asap and do as suggested

Does the fuel pump run? Could it be the kill switch or side stand switch or even the clutch switch?

or side stand switch
You obviously know nothing about the K75 … :D .. look at the bottom of the ignition switch. Pop off the plastic cover and check all the soldered wires are still attached and their connections.

I’ve never owned one but my K1100 has a side stand switch.

So did my K1300S and K1300GT. Oh, and my Speed Triple and Street Triple and ST1300 and CBF1000 and many others. But this isn’t really helping :blast

This thread concerns a K75. They never had a side stand cut-out switch. Neither did the K100.

Fuses ok

No loose wires

Friend with power probe discovered no power on one circuit (afraid i dont know name), this went to fuse nbr 2(i believe) and on to kill-switch.
Kill switch not activated so he opened cover on RHS wiggled behind kill-switch, applied electrical cleaner spray .
Delighted to say back to normal.

Thanks everyone for your assistance
