K76 tyres on a K bike for winter?

Seriously thinking of putting some Hedi K76 tyres on the K bike for winter.

Any thoughts?

The current street tyres handle really nicely though- What I don't want to do is fekk that up, but the farm i work on has muddy tracks and the lanes around it are tight, muddy and covered in leaf mulch- So some semi-off road tyres would suit maybe

Surely nothing is too butch for you, Bill.....

Besides which, the M+S compound is surely the way to go on winter roads....

Dunno about those ones but i can tell you that the k60 tyres are made with very very hard compound I dont trust them in the wet like i do with tourance,s
the one one my gsa 1200 have done about K6 miles and they are nowhere near worn out I would not like to have to get a lean on sharpish like if the road was wet (like we get once in a while here)

Heidenau K76 for Adventure or Dual Sport. This tyre is intended primarily for road use, but has relatively wide grooves between the tread blocks so it can be useable in milder dirt conditions such as gravel roads or perhaps some two track where the soil is relatively firm. The K76 tyre will channel water well on the road in a heavy rainstorm. As an adventure or dual sport tyre lets call its orientation 90% road and 10% dirt. The tread pattern for this tyre is similar to the Metzler Tourance. The tread compound is perhaps a bit softer and the tyre a little stickier than the Tourance

Yep, they do sound ideal for me

Not sure how the fairing will hold up to offroading though

ive not long put a set on the tiger bill , so far im well impressed they handled a feckin grim few days of slimy roads in Normandy a few weeks back
