Kahedo "Extra Low" Seat

Anybody tried/using the extra low seat from Kahedo (sold by Touratech)? Supposedly 20mm lower than the stock low seat - which will make a big difference for me.

Since the UK GS'ers are a tad closer to TT Germany, I reasoned that you guys might have tried it before riders in North America...
(And it's winter, so I have lot's of time to browse through catalogs! )

I like my Wunderlich by Kahedo so far. I imagine they are similar in construction. Wunderlich went to a new vendor and Kahedo went to TT.
Comfort: Better than the BMW low seat but not as comfy as the regular seat.
This seat requires adjustment of the mounting lugs to make regular removal and install easier.
I was unable to locate the matching Wunderlich ERGO pillion here in the US.

My girlfriend is umming and arring over the 650GS; but as she is only 5foot 1.5 inch her worry is seat hight. Are you saying that the Shock adjustment and this new seat is even lower than having the BMW seat sculptured??

What is the new seat hight with this one fitted???

Any comments appreciated so she can decide what best to do; ta.

My girlfriend has the 650 GS, the factory lowered option. Adding the lower seat reduced the 650 seat distance by a further 15-20mm. She quite small as well and is comfortably handling the bike. Suggest you find a dealer with one and get her to sit on it in the show room.
I have a 29-30" inseam and which, as long as I have a nice solid surface, allows me to back up relatively "easy". Add some gravel, and I get off and push...
Quite a few bucks for the seat though!

In my case, much closer

I personally find the low seat much more comfortable than the original, plus wind protection is improved due to the lower seating position.

i have to say the bmw low seatand its really comfy..................and cos of the shape you feel as if you are sittin in the bike.............i'm only 5.5 and i have no hassle touchin floor on me 1200gs.............even me as a shortie don't need it any lower............and the tt seats are over 200 notes........don't forget the bike will sit down a bit as well after a time..........namtinker what about a cs for your girlfriend they have very low seat height???

Looks like although it's expensive, I might "have to" place an order...
The girlfriend is happy with the factory lowered 650GS, and for some reason, the 650 seats are way more comfortable than the GS.
The phrase that peaked my interest was "20mm lower than stock low seat...". In the not too distance future (depending on TT, I might have to delete the "not too" section), I'll have a stock low seat extra!
