after much soul searching i have decided to sell my kawasaki versys 1000, bought by me brand new in 2017, i have spent a small fortune on it making it into the touring bike i wanted, but circumstances mean its had little use in the last few years, its only 10800 miles from new, all done touring, its in showroom condition and and feels like new, its just been serviced with new oil and filter, new plugs, DNA air filter, new brake fluid , inj balance check, new front tyre (rear tyre has loads left in it) as i said i have spent a fortune on it and all the following are included
front mudguard extender
MRA vario screen
sat nav mount above clocks
R&G heel plate protectors
arrow silencer with akrapovic carbon heel shield
s w motech sidestand foot
s w motech adjustable gear lever
not shown in pics - s w motech quick release side pannier frames ,,please note no actual luggage included
givi aluminium monokey rack
evotech front spindle bobbins
s w motech radiator guard
gen kawasaki side protector bars
gen kawasaki hanguards (actually made by s w motech)
s w motech tankbag ring
s w motech aluminium bash plate
renthal rear sprocket
nitron R3 rear shock with seperate nitrogen gas canister and seperate hydraulic pre load adjuster
andreani fork cartridge kit
suspension all set up by TW suspension in preston
all standard parts come with the bike
mot till 16th october 2026
ive prob forgot some stuff too,
i am in lytham st annes, and may be able to help with delivery if needed for a small charge and fuel both ways
price is firm at £6950 , considering its a low mileage one owner bike with a fortune spent (suspension alone was close to £1500) so no offers please, DSCN5775.JPGDSCN5776.JPGDSCN5777.JPGDSCN5778.JPGDSCN5779.JPGDSCN5780.JPGDSCN5781.JPG

thanks arsey,,, just to add in the pics of the front wheel it looks as though the rim is scratched on the outer edge,, its not, its just where the new tyre has been fitted and i havent cleaned the tyre soap off properly yet, doh !

What weight is the fork kit and shock for.
shock was built with a 700 lbs spring for me at around 120kg geared up , and the occasional pillion at around 80kg geared up and to take into account maybe 40kg of luggage, when i had it all set up at TW suspension was told there is a very wide range of adjustment to suit one up or two up with or without luggage

couple a small things i forgot to mention, it has aluminium angled tyre valves fitted, and some stainless bolts including the disc bolts,

Every time I check it out it's shouting my name. I even visit Lytham St Annes at least twice a year. Not that that's got anything to do with it. 🤭
Tasty bit of kit.

I'm assuming it comes with all books, receipts, keys and a stamped up service book?

some pics with the pannier frames fitted, they also have the key locking fitting which is an extra when buyingDSCN5791.JPGDSCN5792.JPGDSCN5793.JPGDSCN5794.JPG
