Toxteth scouser, made good ..now hiding on Wirral
Recently bought this and then my left hip has started to REALLY play up..then almost dropped it at some give way lines :cautious: So, only 5,950 miles ( bought it from a near neighbour who works at the new Chester Motorcycles). Bike shows 6 owners 😳 but it was owned by a father and son and the last two owners have been a Honda dealer etc so no miles from the last three owners. 2018 registered.
Anyways, bike is absolutely immaculate and everything works perfectly as you'd expect with such a low mileage. Stands me around £5,750 so offers in that ballpark please. Last service done in March as well as a non advisory M.O.T. Paintwork is immaculate. Great tyres. OE spots. Lovely Scorpion Exhaust. Centre stand ( easiest bike ever to put on the c/stand ) Heated grips and this is the Grand Tourer model. Clearly been very well looked after. Spare key and service history on the Kawasaki OE memory stick. Bike needs absolutely nothing. Bike also has an amazing 'comfort seat '. I don't have any of the original fitments btw.
Bike has BIKETRAC installed ( with certificate to register it if you want to - only just found this in the documents :sneaky:) Bike is on the Wirral and another genuine regretful sale ( I won't have any left at this rate ! )

I've owned one of these and they are a superb bike

GLWS
These are top quality bikes I have had two of them. Why more bikers have not cottoned onto them surprises me. Kawasaki continue to make the best straight four cylinder and this bikes is of that ilk. They come with none of the other makes know gremlins that ok may have the edge on the track but on the roads day to day the Kwak is a superb do it all bike.

Your absolutely on the money there WM. Kawasaki have a fab line up at present, even better than the current yamahas IMHO

And IMU on 2019 model (y)
Probably.
I know that I swapped my 2015 for a new 2019 and regretted it.
It wasn't worth the extra £8500 that it cost to swap from the earlier Model (not to me anyway).
IMO, the Model before was a perfectly good Machine without all the extra Bells n Whistles.

Good Luck with your Sale OP......

Definitely ..6 axis sensor introduced on 2019 models on SE & LT models

My 2019 model was the third Versys 1000 I'd owned, it featured the IMU , personally I found it to be an improvement over its predecessor

Think the cruise came with the fly by wire throttle ln Euro 5 models.
Found the throttle on mine rather on-off in operation like many with fly by wire and you can't use a Booster Plug or similar as the ECU knows putting mine into limp mode. The throttle on the OPs bike and pre Euro 5 bikes is much smoother and progressive, the one to have in my view. GLWTS

Not on my model, sorry. I think the newer 1100 has it..yours for £13, 500 :confused2:
Ermmm… I’d rather put the £8000 difference to better use by filling the tank and putting some miles and kilometers under its wheels.

I had one of the early “Kryton” styled ones for over 5 years, great bikes with a brilliant motor!
